Some facts about the hair: In general the hair does not have a significant physiological role and our body will function the same without it, however it has a significant psychology role as it is related to our look, appearance, image, mood and more. That is why we nourish, color, straighten, curl, bleach, cut and so on. We invest a lot in hair products and hair instruments.
The hair structure combined the stem which is a flexible cornea layer and the root which is installed into the hair follicle in a depth of 3-5 millimeters. The average rate of hair growth is about 0.37 millimeters per day or about 1.1 centimeter per month. The hair on the head and the body grow faster in women then in men. Every follicle attached to a Sebaceous gland that nourishes the hair and supply lipids. Every hair connected to a muscle (when we afraid or chilled the muscle causes the hair to stand). The lower part of the hair is the part where the melanocytes exist and they are responsible for the pigmentation of our hair.
The type of the hair can be vary during our life circle from soft and bright to hard and black, all due to a lot of hormonal activities and changes in our body during our life circle.
An important fact is that every hair that reaches certain length falls and a new one is replacing it, the length of the is genetics and that is why not all the women can grow the same length of hair.
In the hair follicle there 3 cycles: 1. The active cycle - is to grow the hair and this takes about 3 years. 2. The rest cycle – takes about 3 weeks and nothing grow in this part. 3. the hair fall and substitute with anew one, this takes about three months. These cycles are happening
a-synchronized to prevent the cycles to loose all the hair simultaneously.
Also you have to know that normally we are loosing permanently around 100 hairs per day so don't panic whenever you see hairs in your brush and shower.
The main reasons for loosing hair – by this order:
Genetics – it is in our DNA
Stress and nerves will make your hair fall in packages on your pillow.
Fat in the hair follicle – fat scalp (genetic) or abnormal activities of the gland due to hormonal activities will rapid your hair loss.
Junk hair cosmetics and irritating raw materials in them.
Lack of vitamins and minerals.
Smoking.
How to maximize your hair resistant and to prevent redundant hair loss:
I combine the answer with some Anti Aging Activity for better life.
Stimulation:
The scalp skin and the hair follicle need good and healthy blood circulation in order to supply the hair all the vital ingredients. You can do two simple things that will make wonders to your body and hair – 1. quit smoking 2. stand on your head for 5 minutes a day.
For more healthy stimulation – buy Ginger powder and Panax Ginseng powder and mix them, in the shower apply the powder on your wet scalp, add the shampoo and rub thoroughly and strongly. Wait 2 minutes and rinse well.
You can add of course some daily walking and gym.
Stress and nerves:
First don't worry; hair loss from stress and nerves will grow again, but do your self a favor and learn to control yourself, choose any method such as meditation, yoga, self control etc. it will let your brain to function better and to control his thousands of jobs it has to do daily, once you interrupt the brain and its electrical activity something in your body will not receive what it has to receive and this will lead to skin disorders up to cancer.
Fat – avoid access fat, eat normally and clean your scalp especially if you have fat skin.
Junk and irritating cosmetics – Avoid soaps and shampoos which contain all the family of SLS (Sodium Laureth sulfate or ammonium Laureth sulfate etc.), the kids use hair gel and other damaging stuff and the amount of bold kids and young up to 40 is enormous.
Vitamins and minerals – Use daily multi vitamin according to your age group and buy Zinc Picolinate to take daily.
